You sign up with your email, select which bins you have (general waste, recycling, or green waste), and pick your collection day. We send you a reminder email at 8pm every week the night before your council collects.

Yes, Your Bin Reminder is completely free forever. There are no paid plans, no credit card required, and no hidden fees.

Which Australian councils are supported?

Your Bin Reminder works for any Australian council area. You simply pick the day your council collects. It is compatible with Wyndham, Maribyrnong, Hobsons Bay, Melton, Brimbank, and all other Australian local government areas.

What bin types are supported?

We support all three standard Australian bin types: general waste (red lid), recycling (yellow lid), and green waste / garden organics (green lid).

When will I receive my bin night reminder?

Reminders are sent at 8pm AEST the night before your collection day. For example, if your bins are collected on Thursday, you will receive a reminder on Wednesday at 8pm.

How do I unsubscribe from bin reminders?

Every reminder email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also sign in to your dashboard and delete your reminder at any time.
